Return to 25 Things

Don't like cops?
The next time you're in trouble, call a hippy

In the late 1960s/early 1970s that catchy phrase was often seen on bumper stickers in the USA.   Those were the times when cops were frequently called pigs - and a favorite refrain of the vast unwashed was "Off the pigs"

Now here we are in the 21st century and throughout the media we see much criticism of America's role in the world. They say our nation is "arrogant", "intrusive". "pushy". They say we meddle in everyone's affairs and that we try to make them over in our image.

They say "All cultures are equivalent." and "Just who do we think we are to be leading from the front?".

Well, I have a suggestion:

The next time your nation is in trouble,
call one of the countries listed below.
Go ahead.... PICK ONE!
